ECOSUD 2017

ECOSUD es el acrónimo de Ecosystems and Sustainable Development, y es el que adoptó la serie de conferencias internacionales sobre el tema. En esta ocasión se celebrará en la Facultad de Ciencias del Trabajo, del 26 al 28 de abril de 2017, la undécima edición de ECOSUD.

Ya en el año 2005 la Facultad de Ciencias del Trabajo fue sede de la quinta edición de ECOSUD, y constituyó un éxito de participación.

Se organiza en colaboración con el Wessex Institute of Technology de Inglaterra. La presidencia de esta conferencia recae sobre los profesores Brebbia (Wessex Institute) y Almorza (Facultad de Ciencias del Trabajo de la Universidad de Cádiz).

ECOSUD se inició en el año 1997 en Peñíscola (España) y se continuó cada dos años en Lemnos (Grecia), Alicante (España), Siena (Italia), Cádiz (España), Coimbra (Portugal), Chianciano Terme (Italia), Alicante (España), Bucarest (Rumanía) y Valencia (España).

Para seleccionar los trabajos que se presenten, se ha establecido un Comité Científico de carácter internacional integrado por prestigiosos miembros de la Universidad de Viena (Austria), Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics (Ucrania), Universidad de Alicante (España), Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (España), Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (España), Universidad de Copenhagen (Dinamarca), Universidad de Maine (Estados Unidos), Instituto Mexicano de Tecnología del Agua (Méjico), Universidad Federal de los Urales (Rusia), Universidad de Siena (Italia), Providence College (Estados Unidos), Universidad del Estado de Colorado (Estados Unidos) y Universidad de Chipre (Chipre).

Los trabajos que se presenten a esta Conferencia Internacional, serán publicados por WIT Press en un volumen de WIT Transactions. Algunos artículos seleccionados se publicarán en el International Journal of Design & Nature and Ecodynamics.
